The Night Before Hanukkah

“The Night Before Hanukkah” by Natasha Wing, comes right in time for the Festival of Lights :). Natasha Wing has another bestseller, but this book is in so many ways  exactly what the teachers needed in the classroom. This book does a perfect job explaining Hanukkah to primary students. Most commercial Hanukkah books solely focus on the menorah and latkes. So the story goes, it’s Hanukkah, we light the Menorah, we eat latkes, the end. Natasha Wing masterfully in her usual engaging way, explains the story behind the Festival of Lights, while incorporating traditional Jewish food and customs.   unknown

Love it!
Happy Hanukkah!
