The Man With The Violin – by Stinson and Petricic

“>the man with the violin“The Man With The Violin” by Stinson and Petricic, a children’s picture book inspired by Joshua Bell’s subway performance is an artistic work of art. This book is the perfect Christmas present or a birthday present or a present just because. Kids love this book and relate to it so well. And it is not because the parent in the book is frazzled and non-attentive. If you live in a major city with a little one, you are just like the parent in the story, getting from point A to point B safely in a non-kid proof world :). The artwork in the book is so masterfully done that it doesn’t only complement the story, it makes the story much better. The mix of color and lines are ideal for teaching inferencing and building reading comprehension skills.

Done just right!
