“What Are You So Grumpy About” by Tom Lichtenheld and Lazear (Illustrator)

By now it is obvious that funny books have a special place on my “best books for kids” list. Books that make kids laugh do more than tell a story. They create a special memory and experience between a parent and a child, or a teacher and students in the class.

The latest funny book is “What Are You So Grumpy About” by Tom Lichtenheld and Lazear (Illustrator).  If your kids or students are prone to being or feeling grumpy for no obvious reason, reading them “What Are You So Grumpy About” is bound to break the grumpy spell.

This funny book goes through a series of funny questions, such as, “Did you not get your kind of cereal? Were your favorite clothes in the laundry?” etc. The whole book is a true creative piece of work, from different fonts, great presentation, to funny illustrations that do a great job telling the expressions of kids’ faces when things don’t go their way.

This is a definite reread!

Enjoy!
